Choon and Yen Hee Lim Serving Christ together in East Asia
Birthdays Choon- January 30 Yen Hee- May 1
Anniversary August 21
Choon and Yen Hee Lim were appointed as mission co-workers in 1991. For six years, they worked on the islands off the coast of South Korea in the “Island Medical Mission” of the Presbyterian Church of Korea. In 1997, they went to Taiwan to develop a ministry among aboriginal college students in Hualien with the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan. In their third assignment, Choon is the PC(USA) regional liaison for East Asia. He works with global partners in South Korea, North Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan. He is the chief relational bridge connecting these global partners with the PC (USA). Yen Hee is engaged in ministry through the home.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” John 20:21
There is so much need in our area and throughout the world. As it says in Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" One of our biggest jobs is deciding where and how to help those hurting and hungry both spiritually and physically. We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00pm and we would really appreciate if you take the time to pray and see if God could be calling you to the Missions Committee.
