There is so much need in our area and throughout the world. As it says in Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" One of our biggest jobs is deciding where and how to help those hurting and hungry both spiritually and physically. We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00pm and we would really appreciate if you take the time to pray and see if God could be calling you to the Missions Committee.
Water Filters: We collect every Sunday in the narthex after the 10:30 am service. The monies go directly to GAIN to supply water filters for areas that do not have clean water.
Egg Sandwich Sundays: We will be selling Egg Sandwiches after the 10:30 Worship Service, in Fellowship Hall for $2.00 each. Optional toppings of cheese and/or fried peppers at no additional cost. All of the proceeds go right to Family Promise.
Amish Pack Out: We meet at the church in Fellowhip Hall every third Saturday of each month from 4-6pm to pack food for homeless people in our area. We could use more people to come out and help pack the food. We also need plastic food zip lock baggies, plastic containers with good fitting lids. The baggies and containers can be placed in the designated box on the stage in Fellowship Hall.
