Outreach and Ministry
Women's Steering Team
Older Adult Ministry
This team was developed approximately 10 years ago to help the pastor with the events held for the women of the church. The team helps secure locations for our away retreats, helps with ideas and helps plan for all women's events at our church.
On a regular basis, we have an in-house and an away retreat. The in-house is usually sometime in February/March. The away retreat is usually in September/October.
During any retreat, we read, learn, have fellowship with other Christian women and most of all grow closer to the living Lord.Beginning with women over 18, all are welcome--church member or not! You never know what the Lord has in store for you. Plan to attend our next woman's event!
If you are interested in any women's function or would like any information, please call our church office and you will be directed to the appropriate person!

The new Transformation Prayer Ministry has come to First Presbyterian Church of Levittown! Actually the Transformation Prayer Ministry ("TPM") has been with us for almost a decade and has ministered to over 80 people in over 150 sessions. This confidential and safe prayer ministry is truly transformational.
This is not counseling. It's purpose is to guide you in connecting to Jesus who will speak truth to your concerns or issues.
The Deacon office is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of Deacons to minister to those who are in need, sick, friendless or in distress. We strive to do this with compassion and respect to those we minister to.

There is so much need in our area and throughout the world. As it says in Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" One of our biggest jobs is deciding where and how to help those hurting and hungry both spiritually and physically. We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00pm and we would really appreciate if you take the time to pray and see if God could be calling you to the Missions Committee.
Because the last third of life presents some of life’s great challenges, our Older Adult Ministry Program focuses on spiritual, theological, and ethical issues of aging and frailty and assists individual older adults as they grow older in life to continue to find meaning and purpose. Our aim is to create a church environment where the spiritual gifts, wisdom, skills, experience, and faith of older adults are appreciated and utilized and where older adults have opportunities to make the most of their lives and grow in relationship with God and others. For information about First Presbyterian Church’s older adult ministry, please contact the Church office.
We are helping with the Amish Food Pack out for homeless and needy families. Once a month we will be joining with local churches to make up food boxes. One Saturday a month volunteers divide food received from the Amish Market after it closes. We are asking for donations of plastic bags (sandwich, quart and gallon) and a variety of sizes of clean plastic containers with lids. Please bring donations to church and place them in the labeled box in Fellowship Hall.
If you need assistance from the Deacons, please do not hesitate to contact the church office.
