A word from Miss Cheryl:
The childcare center is a ministry of The First Presbyterian Church. In January of 1991 the process began with the Department of Welfare to open our childcare center and school. So began the journey that has lasted 25 school years and hundreds of wonderful children. God has blessed us with so many wonderful people on our staff. Together, stepping out in faith we have seen so many blessings!
We accept all children regardless of race, creed, physical or mental disabilities, color, religious belief, sex, national origin, or ancestry.
Through this 25 year old ministry, many children have passed through our doors, being taught the love of Jesus. How quickly time passes; our first babies have graduated from college! Preparing our children for the future is an important part of our program. Nurture of their spiritual and educational growth is an important goal. Bible stories and music are part of our daily activities. Building a foundation for reading becomes ever more important as much research has determined the earlier reading readiness begins the better.
We continue to collect Box Tops for Education. Thank you for your ongoing support! Please continue to pray for this ministry!!
Jesus said..."Let the Children come" Ministry is service and together we are serving God's Children!
We apologize to the parents who use Paypal, Though the button says "Donate" this is the tuition payment portal. We are working on designing a correctly worded button. Thank you for your patience.

We have now added a class for virtual learners and hybrid learners for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We will continue to offer Before and After Care for Elementary School children once they are allowed back in the schools.
We are very excited to announce that we have separate Preschool and PreK groups this year. We offer full day, half day and nursery 3 hrs a day programs.
Preschool is for potty trained 3 year olds and young 4's whose 4th birthday is after Sept. 1.
The PreKindergarten class is 4 year olds and young 5's whose 5th birthday is after Sept. 1.
We do encourage the Prek children to attend at least 5 hrs. a day to have the best advantage of experiencing all that is being taught to the children.
Our PreK teacher is working with reading readiness, math readiness, and other skills that will get the children ready for Kindergarten next year. They have been experiencing many fun things like cooking and baking, creating full size bodies of themselves, leaning to play songs with the bells, and monthly make believe trips to other countries around the world.. In addition, both groups have gym, art, library, chapel and music.
