Our Senior Pastor, the Reverend Kari McClelland has retired after 43 years of faithful service to our church, and we have welcomed Debbie Heffernan as our Transitional Pastor and Head of Staff. Debbie also spent 9 years working as the Director of Adult Education at Thompson Memorial Church in New Hope, PA and 3 years as the Director of Mission at Paoli Presbyterian Church in Paoli, PA.
Debbie's passion is for people to grow in their faith and engage in the worship, wonder, and work of God, to bring postive change in our community, nationa and world. Debbie received her Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary, a Certificate in Theology and Youth Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary, M. Ed in Training Design and Development from Penn State University.
We believe in a loving and merciful God who came to this earth in the form of Jesus of Nazareth, lived a sinless life, suffered and died on the cross to atone for our sins, and then rose again from the dead so that we might live with Him forever. This same Jesus will also be coming back again to judge the unrepentant and establish His kingdom with a new heaven and a new earth.
